Esther Braselmann earned a Diplom degree in Biochemistry at the University of Bielefeld, Germany, and received her PhD in Biochemistry at the University of Notre Dame, IN. Esther then moved to the University of Colorado Boulder for her postdoctoral work, where she spearheaded the development of a new platform to tag and track RNAs in live cells called Riboglow. To define a model system for fluorescence microscopy, Esther developed tools to visualize aspects of Listeria monocytogenes infections live in collaboration with Dr. Pascale Cossart at the Pasteur Institut in Paris, France.
